This coffee comes from the Endalkachew washing station, currently serving about 1,500 smallholder producers in the Oromia region of Guji. When brewed, this delicate washed Ethiopian coffee is complex with base notes of peach sweet tea, hints of delicate florals like chamomile and bergamot, and a citrus acidity that reminds us of an old fashioned lemon drop candy as it cools. Its subtle complexities may be washed out by the addition of cream/milk, so we love it best served black.

Kenyan coffees are globally renowned for their complex and distinctive flavors. It’s no wonder that Kenyan coffee growing, processing, and drying techniques are being adopted by coffee producers around the world with super tasty results.

Because we have a limited quantity, we will be roasting this special coffee exclusively on Mondays until we sell out. Orders placed by 8am each Monday will be roasted and shipped each Monday.

Our new environmentally friendly retail bags are here! We're excited to finally be able to offer our retail coffee in these new compostable bags which are made of natural kraft paper and PLA, a renewable plant-based material. The zipper and one-way valve are also made of PLA, so the bag is fully compostable.

When you're finished with the bag, simply remove the label and compost!

Now that it's officially summer, we're excited to keep everyone cool and caffeinated with our new SQ1 Popsicles. We make these in-house without any artificial additives, and so far they're all dairy-free. This outstanding Mexican coffee comes to us from Finca Las Vegas, a coffee farm (in Mexico) that borders the Triunfo Biosphere Reserve, one of the world's most diverse forest reserves. The reserve contains Mesoamerica's largest continuous cloud forest and is a refuge for thousands of plant and animal species. The farm is owned by Elizar Vázquez Pérez and has 6 hectares planted with organically grown coffee plants.

Angel Vasquez has coffee farms located in neighboring towns of El Sute and El Mineral, Honduras. This mountainous region sees some of the higher altitude farms, with his farm reaching 1,500 meters above sea level. Don Angel has 6 hectares of coffee between his two farms, both planted in hearty arabica coffee plants which are disease resistant and tend to have some herbal characteristics. The cup also has surprising fruited character and balanced acidity.
